I invite you to visit my blog from time to time for news about my writing.

My newest show is scheduled to open on January 11, 2018, at Theater for the New City. It will be a musical comedy with, I hope, delightfully expressed social significance. Or, as the lyric by Harold Rome goes in Pins and Needles, the revue directed by my brilliant mentor in the theater, Charles Friedman:

Sing me a song with social significance,

All other tunes are taboo.

I want a ditty with heat in it,

Appealing with feeling and meat in it.

Sing me a song with social significance,

Or you can sing till you’re blue.

Let meaning shine from every line

Or I won’t love you.
